The Celtic/Folk/World music duo Four Shillings Short is coming to Frisco on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 7:30pm-9:30pm at HighSide Brewing (720 Main Street, Frisco) to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The international duo have been touring in the United States and Ireland since 1997 and last performed for Summit Music & Arts in 2014.
A Celebration of Ireland Concert brings together the history, folklore & music of Ireland, weaving traditional Irish songs in Irish and English, jigs, reels & slow airs, Irish poetry & stories (in Middle & Old Irish, W.B. Yeats and other Irish Poets). Four Shillings Short play a fantastic collection of world instruments: hammered & mountain dulcimer, mandolins, renaissance woodwinds, North Indian sitar, recorders & tin whistles, banjo, guitar, charango, psaltery, percussion, vocals & even a krumhorn.

Summit Music and Arts (SMA) is a performing arts organization creating artistic awareness for youth and adults in Colorado. SMA presents an annual concert schedule and opportunities for young musicians through the Young Composers Project.
