Town Clean Up Day & Appreciation Party

The Town of Frisco is preparing for our annual Town Clean Up Day coming up Saturday, May 16, 2015!

2015 Information

Join the Town of Frisco in participating in Summit County’s 2015 Clean Up Day as we clean the streets of Frisco after the snow melts – and get a free lunch and concert at a gathering after clean up as a “thank you” for your efforts. We will also have live music from 1-3pm with the Phil Jensen Band!

The Lowdown

Meet on Main Street between 1st Avenue & 2nd Avenue outside of the Frisco Historic Park & Museum.  Street address is: 120 Main Street Frisco, CO 80443.  There will be a check-in table beginning at 9:00am to pick up canvas gloves, orange bags and receive area assignments.  Participants will also receive a lunch ticket, 2 beverage tickets (beer provided by Backcountry Brewery for those 21 and over only) and a door prize ticket.  Donuts courtesy of Safeway and coffee provided by Starbucks will be available at check-in.

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and comfortable walking shoes.

Pick out a spot you see or walk every day and plan to do clean up there.

Bring lots of family and friends- it makes the morning go a lot faster.

Zero Waste Picnic Lunch at the Frisco Historic Park Sponsored by Safeway

After clean up, Kory Brunson will be providing live music and Town Council members will be grilling up and serving food provided by Safeway at the Frisco Historic Park!

All food waste will be composted and all supplies will be recyclable when available – so there will be minimal waste going to the landfill after this event.  Frisco strives to be environmentally friendly with our events and walks the walk with our Zero Waste Picnic Lunch which is a “thank you” to volunteers.

Door Prizes

Starting at 12:30pm, several local businesses have been kind enough to donate some amazing gift certificates and prizes to be given away at the event as a “thank you” to lucky volunteers!

Think you picked up the “Grossest”, “Most Unique” or “Most Valuable” item in Frisco on Clean-Up Day in 2015?  Hang on to it (if you can stand it) and submit it to see if you win a special prize from Peak One Neighborhood!
