The Town of Frisco is proud to continue the tradition of Concerts in the Park during our “new normal” by bringing together great music for a great cause during our free concert series, which will largely be live broadcast from Ten Mile Music Hall in 2020. These concerts feature great up-and-coming musical talent, as well as well-loved favorites. You’ll hear everything from country to jazz to Americana/bluegrass to good ole’ rock-n-roll.

All concerts will be on Thursdays from 5:30pm – 7:30pm, from June 25, 2020 through August 20, 2020.

The Band and the Non-Profit for July 23, 2020

The fifth Concert Not in the Park of the 2020 summer season will be live broadcast on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 5:30pm-7:30pm featuring Harry Baxter Band and will benefit High Country Conservation Center.

The Harry Baxter Band, based in Vail, Colorado, has provided opening acts for many famous artists, which include BB King, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Sister Sledge, Stanley Jordan, The Commitments, Mitch Rider, The Smothers Brothers, and more. They have performed at many venues throughout Colorado. The Harry Baxter Band plays a wide variety of music, ranging from jazz standards, rhythm and blues, popular tunes, and Motown selections. Their musical and vocal talent allows musical material to be performed with complete authenticity.

The Harry Baxter Band has rocked, jazzed and funked up the Rocky Mountains for more than two decades of reinventing and refining themselves within the constant framework of American up-tempo dance classics.

How to Watch:

You can tune in to all of the Concerts Not in the Park via livestream on the following Town of Frisco social media accounts:

Can I Attend?

As a means of fundraising, each of our nonprofit partners will be allowed to sell a limited number tickets each week- 7 tables will be for sale and will hold up to 3 people maximum. No individual tickets will be for sale; just tables. The non-profits will set the price and provide a way to purchase tickets.

How Can I Support This Week’s Non-Profit?

Please donate to this week’s non-profit.

Why the Move to Live Streaming for 2020?

Summit Public Health Orders allow for outdoor event gatherings of 175 people or less currently to slow the spread of COVID-19, which does not support the crowds we typically see at Concerts in the Park.. This means that this year’s Concert in Not in the Park Series needs to look a lot different in order to meet public health guidelines and have a profoundly positive impact on keeping us all healthy.

We love this tradition and wanted to support musicians, Ten Mile Music Hall, and local non-profits so we decided to be creative and flexible. We still need a little of the “old normal” to be part of the “new normal”. You still have the opportunity to support local non-profits, and now you can join us from your own beautiful lawn!
