The Frisco Nordic Center will be offering free trail use, group lessons and clinics on Monday, December 7, 2015. This is an exceptional opportunity for locals to check out cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at the beautiful Frisco Nordic Center! Anyone displaying a Summit County ID may have a free trail pass between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, and equipment rentals will be at a discounted rate of $15 if gear is needed.
Beginning at 12:30 pm the Nordic Center will offer two free group lessons, including rentals and a pass. One clinic will feature classic cross-county skiing and the other will feature skate skiing. Participants may then use their pass and skis until 4:45 pm.
From 3:45 pm – 4:45 pm, the Frisco Nordic Center will offer a free classic cross-country ski clinic for children ages five and over (parents of children between ages 5-8 need to participate with them). And parents of all children are welcome to join in the lessons.
Reservation are required for all lessons and may be made by calling 970-668-0866. Reservations must be made by 4:00 pm on Friday, December 4, 2015.
