Summit County 50+ Winter Games

Feb 22-23, 2016 (Past event)

So in the mountains most folks are hitting their athletic prime after their “crazy 20’s”, beyond their “lost 30’s” and at the tail end of their “confused 40’s”. Most everyone in the mountains has stories about being completely smoked by a 70-year-old on a pair of Nordic skis. Enter the 50+ Winter Games which serves up a dose of fun and competition with a welcoming and laid back vibe for folks 50 and over.

Featured events include alpine skiing, snowboarding, Nordic skiing (even a biathlon), snowshoeing, a snowball toss (hey- we have to keep it fun) and ice skating. For more information, check out the 50+ Winter Games website here.
