This is Summit County’s best thrift sale each year and features slightly used clothing, small furniture and appliances, complete computer systems and laptops, children’s item, housewares, linens, ski wear and more at the Summit County Community and Senior Center, 00083 Nancy’s Place, Frisco.
- Tuesday and Wednesday, July 25 and 26, 7:30am – 4:30pm- donations of items in good, clean condition will be accepted at the Summit County Senior Center. No appliances, TVs, magazines, encyclopedias, books, computer monitors (unless part of a complete computer system) or mattresses will be accepted.
- Thursday, July 27 from 5:00-8:00pm– Special pre-sale and admission for this special pre-sale is $10 (ages 11 and up).
- Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29 from 9:00am – 5:00pm– Regular rummage sale
- Sunday, July 30 from 10:00am – 12:00pm– On Sunday, all items (other than boutique items) inside the building will be sold for $2.00 a bag.
Not only will there be great thrift finds, there will also be a silent auction with restaurant certificates, artwork, theme baskets and other luxury goods all benefiting local non-profits that serve senior citizens.
Last year’s sale netted over $50,000 benefiting Summit County charitable organizations serving seniors such as: the Summit County Senior Center, FIRC, Timberline Adult Services, senior service programs, Mountain Meals, medical transportation, the Summit County Care Clinic, as well as other nonprofits.
