May 30, 2015 (Past event)

The Bristlecone Foundation Legacy Forest Campaign started in 2010 to help support the home care and hospice patients of Bristlecone Health Services and to renew the forests of Summit County and the beauty of our mountains. This summer 10,000 seedlings will thrive in our mountain valley in honor or in memory of loved ones.
On Saturday, May 30, 2015 between 9:00 am and noon the Bristlecone Foundation will plant seedlings in Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco and Silverthorne in support of the home care and hospice patients of Bristlecone Health Services with limited or no insurance. A donation of $20 will plant a seedling in memory or in honor of your loved one. You can designate where you would like your seedling(s) planted and watch your donation grow. Visit BristleconeFoundation.org to purchase a seedling or call 970-668-8444 to donate by phone. Seedlings to be planted include: Bristlecone Pine, Colorado Blue Spruce, Douglas Fir, Ponderosa Pine and Engelmann Spruce.
To volunteer as an individual or as a group at one of the planting sites please email Åsa Armstrong at AsaArmstrong@centura.org or call 970-668-8444.
