Canceled- Turkey Day 5k

Nov 26, 2020 (Past event)

After extensive discussions internally and with local permitting agencies, the Town of Frisco has made the difficult decision to cancel the Turkey Day 5k due to rising COVID-19 cases in Summit County and the subsequent public health restrictions, which limit outdoor events to 75 participants or less.

Grateful

The Town is grateful to all of the runners, walkers, dogs, and even real turkeys who have participated in the Frisco Turkey Day 5k since 2013. The Town also offers a special thank you to Turkey Day 5k sponsor, The Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute.

Returning Thanksgiving 2021

The Frisco Turkey Day 5k will return on Thursday, November 25, 2021.

How to Keep Giving

Each year Frisco’s Turkey Day 5k has benefited the Family Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC) food bank and the Frisco Elementary STEM program.  The Town is encouraging donations to FIRC’s food bank or any food bank across the state or country that needs your help this year and to the Frisco Elementary STEM program.
