Ugly Sweater Challenge– Ugly holiday sweaters are required at this event which celebrates all things holiday with a tongue in cheek challenge at a new location this year, the Frisco Nordic Center. Participants are invited to take on “holiday challenges” at the Frisco Nordic Center. Challenges will include traditional holiday tasks like snow angels and eggnog shooters (nonalcoholic to keep participants in top form) over 1.5km. You can do obstacles in x-country skis, snowshoes or regular shoes depending on your desired level of challenge. X-Country skis and snowshoes will be available on a first come, first outfitted basis for a discounted rate of $10 at the Frisco Nordic Center.
DUE TO EARLY SEASON SNOW CONDITIONS, CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING CONDITIONS WILL BE VERY CHALLENGING WITH UNSEEN ROCKS AND STUMPS AND SOME STEEP GRADES SO WE SUGGEST SNOWSHOEING OR WALKING THE COURSE UNLESS YOU ARE AN EXPERT DAREDEVIL.
Awards will be followed by an Ugly Sweater After Party at Greco’s Pastaria.
This is not a race so participants will be rewarded for style. Prizes will be awarded for best ugly holiday sweater, best team of ugly holiday sweaters, best kiddo (12 and under) ugly holiday sweater and best dog ugly holiday sweater. Registration is $15 per person. Dogs and children under 5 are free. Registration includes a Frisco beanie while supplies last, a chance to show off your sweater and a whole bunch of glory for participating and having the courage show off your best ugly sweater.

- Day of registration on Saturday, December 10 will be available from 10:00am – 1:00pm at the Frisco/Copper Information Center at 300 Main Street in Frisco- phone # 970-668-5547.
- Start line registration on Saturday, December 10 will be at the Frisco Nordic Center at 2:00pm.
