Winter Lecture Series: Finding Gold in Colorado

As author of “Finding Gold in Colorado”, Kevin Singel is an expert on Colorado’s early gold prospecting history, with a focus on Summit County. Kevin will discuss the major towns founded as gold mining camps, as well as summaries of each town’s origin.

During this presentation, Singel discusses the history of gold mining in Colorado, its history and contemporary practice; and even provides a few tips to whet the appetite of treasure hunters. Join us for this exciting and informative lecture.
