Ski Through History – The Story of the Breckenridge Ski Area and its Runs
Presented by Rick Hague
Ever wonder where the names “Frosty’s Freeway”, “Tom’s Baby”, and “Debby’s Alley” came from while skiing in Breckenridge? Who were “Tele” and “Sadie”? Breckenridge is a rare ski area in that most of its run names actually mean something. Hear local historian Rick Hague reveal the area’s long-lost secrets as well as its history.
Join us après ski for this new historical lecture series, featuring 6 educational presentations held at the Historic Park Log Chapel every Wednesday from 3:00pm – 4:00pm. Seating is very limited – please arrive early! Contact the Museum for more information on lecture topics: (970) 668-3428
