SOLD OUT FOR 2021! We will enroll people from the waitlist when and if the COVID19 group gathering guidelines change.

**This race is moving to a FRIDAY in 2021. With the volume of people we see at the Frisco Bay Marina on the weekends, we feel that we can provide the best racer experience,  as well as provide a safe environment for other Marina guests, but moving the race to a FRIDAY.**

COVID19 Update

We continue to monitor regulations and recommendations regarding group gatherings during these unprecedented times. We are working with our local permitting agencies as well as following guidance from Summit County Public Health. The health and safety of our race participants, staff, volunteers, and the Frisco community is our top priority. We will open online registration for the 2021 Frisco Triathlon on April 9, 2021 at 8:00am.  After preliminary discussions with public health, we remain hopeful that group gathering sizes will increase by July 9 and that we will be able to host the race.  If we have to cancel the race due to COVID19 restrictions, we will refund racers 100% of their registration fee.  Thank you for your patience and understanding as you wait for a decision regarding the 7th Annual Frisco Triathlon.

Please email Linsey Joyce with any questions.

Frisco Peninsula Trail Map

If you are planning pre-ride/run the course, it is highly recommend you print out the map, course description listed above and also this map of all of the trails on the Frisco Peninsula.  The course can be tricky to find on your own as some of the trails are unmarked or have confusing intersections.  Please know that the course will be marked extremely well for the race!

Also, if you do pre-ride/run the course, we recommend you either park at the Frisco Adventure Park or in the Two Below Zero parking lot that is located just after you turn from Recreation Way onto the Campground Road.  This is a mulch lot and is labeled ‘Two Below Zero Parking’.  If you choose to park at the actual transition area, you will have to pay a $7 USFS fee per vehicle.

Required Gear

First things first, all racers must provide their own equipment for each leg of the event; stand-up-paddle board (SUP,) personal flotation device (PFD,) mountain bike, helmet and running shoes. If you don’t own a SUP  you can rent one locally from the Frisco Bay Marina,  Kodi Rafting, Podium Sports or Shaboomee. Please plan ahead and come prepared with your SUP rental lined up before July 10, 2021!
