Historic Park & Museum

Community Collection Project

The Frisco Historic Park & Museum is launching the Community Collection Project which will focus on gathering stories and documenting our community’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

We would like to invite the community to assist us with this project by donating items that represent your observations and experiences.  Through your accounts, we can tell the complex story of the Frisco experience during this historic moment. Donated items will be put into the COVID-19 collection for future research and exhibitions. You can use the form below to donate digital content or reach out to us at Museum@townoffrisco.com to donate physical items.

Inspiration List

Not sure where to start? Have you snapped a great photo of Main Street? What about that video of the drive-by birthday parade? Think about how you would tell your story in ten, fifty, or one hundred years. What memories stand out to you? Check out our inspiration list below:

  • photographs
  • drawings
  • signs
  • letters
  • journals
  • schoolwork/lesson plans
  • poems
  • knitting
  • needlepoint
  • artwork
  • videos

Oral Histories: Are you more of a talker than a writer? Email us at Museum@townoffrisco.com to set up a time to chat with Museum staff!

Not sure if you want to donate? That’s ok! Keep your items with the date created and a short description in your personal collection so you can share your story with your family and friends.

Local Organizations

We would also like to invite all organizations in Summit County to join us in documenting our shared community experience and the complex ways COVID-19 has impacted each of us. If you are collecting items related to the COVID-19 response, please let us know so we can share your project.

For more information, please contact Museum@townoffrisco.com.
