COVID-19 Update

  • Frisco playgrounds are currently open, and Frisco public works will be sanitizing as many surfaces as possible each morning. That said- be careful with high touch surfaces and wash and/or sanitize your hands frequently, and do your best to refrain from touching your face.
  • Please practice safe physical distancing even when outdoors:
    • Stay home if you are sick
    • Wash and/or sanitize your hands frequently
    • Keep six feet of distance from others not in your party
    • If things look too crowded to maintain safe physical distancing then come back later or on a different day
    • Wear a face covering if inside or if you can’t keep six feet of distance outside
    • Cover your mouth with an elbow or tissue when sneezing or coughing
    • Show caring and kindness with whatever action you take

Visit one of Frisco’s many playgrounds or parks

There may be snow on the ground, but kids still enjoy playing at one of our playgrounds (Frisco Fun Ground, Lakefront Park, Walter Byron, & Meadow Creek) for hours. Many of the days are nice enough for a picnic too, as early as March! Frisco’s 7 parks often have tables, shelter and grills available.

Frisco Fun Ground – Located at the Frisco Elementary School

Lakefront Park – Located at the Frisco Bay Marina

This playground is currently closed due to construction- Walter Byron Park – Located on 4th Avenue just north of Main Street

Meadow Creek Park – Located on Meadow Dr behind Walmart
