Group dressed up as turkey and chef running in Turkey Day 5k

COVID19 Update: Due to the current Summit County Public Health Order, and limits on group sizes we will not be hosting the Frisco Turkey Day 5k in 2020. We would like to encourage families to be safe this holiday season, and get active on Thanksgiving morning with members of your household. Post-Race Party:

The post-race party will be a block party on 3rd Avenue, near the start line.  We invite you to stick around for prize giveaways (must be present to win) and some delicious refreshments.

Summit County weather varies in November so we recommend dressing in layers for this run; don’t forget to pack a beanie, gloves, and Yaktrax if you have them!

We recommend any type of running or hiking shoe for this fun run!  As mentioned above,  portions of the course will not be plowed or shoveled and runners will pass through areas of packed snow. There are many options out there that provide additional traction for runners.

Green Event:

Bring your own cup or water bottle to help us cut down on single use cups during the event!

Not interested in running the 5k? We need volunteers to help on the course; register to be a volunteer by clicking here.
